Sadness is grey like the sky before rainfall
sadness sounds like the wind whining through the narrow trees
Sadness feels like someone has kicked you in the stomach
Sadness looks like a starving puppy left under the stairs
Sadness tastes like a sour lemon
Sadness reminds me of the dullest day there could be

Excitement is as pink as a kitten’s tongue licking the last drop of milk from its bowl
Excitement feels like a silky soft blanket with frayed ends

Excitement looks like a dog doing a handstand
Excitement smells like the after smell of perfume in the sun
Excitement reminds me of ripping open all my presents on Christmas Day

The poems are really good and i liked how we had to pick a word out of the pot.
Wow! Some fantastic descriptions. I really like the lines ‘Fear feels like trembling feet running away’ and
