P5-7 have been writing poems which describe an emotion  using all the senses. Their imaginations have certainly been fizzing.

    Sadness
    Sadness is grey like the sky before rainfall
    sadness sounds like the wind whining through the narrow trees
    Sadness feels like someone has kicked you in the stomach
    Sadness looks like a starving puppy left under the stairs
    Sadness tastes like a sour lemon
    Sadness reminds me of the dullest day there could be

    Excitement
    Excitement is as pink as a kitten’s tongue licking the last drop of milk from its bowl
    Excitement feels like a silky soft blanket with frayed ends
    Excitement tastes like cherry coke and fizzy cola bottles mixed together
    Excitement sounds like whizzing fireworks in a bat black sky
    Excitement looks like a dog doing a handstand
    Excitement smells like the after smell of perfume in the sun
    Excitement reminds me of ripping open all my presents on Christmas Day

    Hate feels like a shiver down your back

    Surprise is orange like a sun set fading in the summer sky
    Surprise sounds like a jumping cricket
    Surprise tastes like space dust crackling in your mouth
    Surprise smells like the sweetness of chocolate

    Surprise feels like a nice hot sun tan

    Diappointment
    Disappointment is red like a bowl of lava
    It looks like an abandoned calm sea
    Disappointment sounds like a quiet house at night
    Disappointment smells like a burnt piece of toast
    Disappointment tastes like an old rotten and poisonous banana
    Disappointment feels like being in a fight because no one likes you
    Disappointment reminds me of a cancelled flight and a missed holiday

    Worry looks like wide open eyes
    Worry tastes like medicine for a bad illness
    Worry feels like you have chicken pox all over your body
    Worry reminds me of being out at Hallowe’en and someone is trying to take all your sweeties

    i think that the poems p5-7 are exelent and they are very discriptive. i liked the how blue sounds like the roaring wind.
